She’s rarely seen without her thigh-high platform boots, and Ariana discovered the downside of the sexy footwear on Sunday.

The singer took an impressive tumble while performing Bang Bang in Toronto, Canada, as part of her Honeymoon Tour, just a couple of weeks after getting stuck in a malfunctioning lift.

A video captured by a concert-goer showed Ariana tripping over a piece of the stage that came apart as she hopped onto it, and then falling to her knees.

But the 21-year-old remained every inch the professional, and didn’t stop her performance, instead continuing from the ground before getting up and dancing.

Ariana had been putting on yet another raunchy show at the Air Canada Centre, two weeks after kicking off her tour.

Rocking high-waisted black satin pants and a matching bralette, the American star happily paraded her toned figure in all its glory.

She teamed her stage attire with a casual hoodie and a pair of over-the-knee boots, while trademark kitten ears – worn over a brunette locks – gave the look a playful finish.

Later slipping into a tiny glitzy number, Ariana accentuated her pretty facial features with winged eyeliner, shimmery eyewear and a slick of off-white polish over her talons.

The All My Love hitmaker had many wardrobe changes during her 18 track set list, which comprised of songs from her first two albums – Yours Truly and My Everything.

At one point, the feisty star was seen standing on a floating cloud above the stage while she sang a track with her boyfriend, Big Sean, who was on the screen.

Following her energetic performance, Ariana took to Twitter to thank her fans who had bought tickets for the show, by writing: ‘thank u toronto!!!! tonight was such a fun show lol. y’all made me feel so much better! i love you & thank you so much.’

Meanwhile, the singing sensation recently claimed to have ‘almost died’ after getting caught in a malfunctioning lift during the Honeymoon tour’s opening show in Kansas City.

She detailed the incident in a Youtube video posted on Thursday night, showing her behind the scenes at the show.

A very flustered Ariana wailed to her friends and colleagues that she ‘almost died’ as they re-enacted her dexterous manoeuvres to avoid falling victim to the malfunctioning equipment.

The singer then explained what happened: ‘I’m supposed to be going up in my lift for Love Me Harder, like in this wooden thing that raises up. So the wooden thing breaks and goes like this!’
