So it’s quite ironic that she showed her fans more than they bargained for as she performed in Australia yesterday.

The sexy star donned a tiny white crop top and skirt for her gig on Aussie TV show Sunrise at the Sydney Opera House.

Even with the jungle-themed slip wrapped around her waist, the ‘Roar’ singer still managed to show off a great deal of thigh and toned midriff.

But Katy didn’t count on the windy Australia weather– and pulled a Marilyn Monroe after a gust of breeze exposed her perky derriére for everyone to see.

The singer let out the secret that her white mini was completely backless as the green slip fluttered in the breeze. Luckily Katy had chosen to wear some cheek-covering undies and kinky fishnets so her modesty was kept in check.

During the week, the quirky singer said: “I mean, it’s like everybody’s so naked. It’s like, ‘Put it away. We know you’ve got it. I got it, too’.”

Perhaps in fear of another wardrobe malfunction, Katy embraced her inner grunge goddess as she headed to the airport to catch a flight to Japan.

Katy then got into the Halloween spirit by throwing on a pair of customised cat ears.

Well, it was National Cat Day after all.
