Lindsay Lohan Reacts To ‘Thank U, Next’ Video And Reminds Us There’s In Fact Only One Lindsay

So, you agree? You think you’re really pretty? Ariana Grande has been giving us all the nostalgic feels with her Mean Girls-inspired music video for “thank u, next.” Starring alongside Ariana, who’s playing the Regina George of the group, is Elizabeth Gillies as Cady Heron, Lindsay Lohan‘s character in the original movie. Fans gushed about how similar the two actresses looked while in character. However, Lindsay was quick to remind us all on Instagram that there is only one real Lindsay Lohan and it’s, in fact, her.

The Mean Girls recreation looks pretty spot on, according to the teaser photos, and fans can’t stop comparing Elizabeth to Lindsay. “Wowww Elizabeth Gillies looks exactly like Lindsay Lohan,” one fan said. Another admitted, “I thought it was really Lindsey lol,” while someone else agreed, “Honestly thought that was really [Lindsay Lohan].”

No shade here! Elizabeth plays Fallon Carrington on the show Dynasty. Lindsay was able to simultaneously assert herself as the OG Cady Heron while also praising her actress look-alike. That takes skill.

As for the upcoming video, Ariana has been extremely detail-oriented. Jonathan Bennett, who actually played Aaron Samuels, and Stefanie Drummond, who saw Cady Heron wear army pants and flip-flops so she bought army pants and flip-flops, were both cast to make appearances in the video.

We’re still holding our breath waiting for the “thank u, next” music video to drop. It will not only feature a Mean Girls spoof, but also re-enact beloved scenes from 13 Going On 30, Bring It On, and Legally Blonde. Truly, a rom-com lovers dream come true. Any day now, Ari!
