Katy Perry puts an umbrella to good use to protect her from the sun while heading out to the open sea on a boat in Capri, Italy over the weekend.

The American Idol judge and singer was seen getting a ride out into the sea on a motorboat as she shot new scenes for an upcoming commercial for Dolce & Gabbana, which was directed by Pablo Sorrentino.

Katy wore a cute green and black floral bikini top and skirt for the shoot, adding a cool pair of red sunglasses to her retro look.

At one point, she was even seen blowing a kiss to the camera in the boat for the shoot.

Just last month, Katy was seen in a bright neon yellow dress for a key ceremony in Las Vegas.

She was honored with a key to the city and June 9 was also named “Katy Perry Day” in Vegas.
