Sydney Sweeney Looks Utterly Breathtaking in a Metallic Breastplate Gown

Sydney Sweeney is charging into battle with a red-carpet-ready look.

The Euphoria star made a jaw-dropping appearance at GQ’s 2022 Men of the Year Awards, held in London last night. For the glitzy occasion, the actress opted to make a splash in a look pulled straight from the runway—specifically, LaQuan Smith’s spring/summer 2023 ready-to-wear collection.

The black maxi dress included a turtleneck and asymmetrical long sleeves, but the true centerpiece of the outfit was the torso, which opened up to reveal an ab-baring silver breastplate.

To complement the silver accents, Sweeney wore silver studded earrings and even coordinated her glam, wearing metallic and black eyeliner. She swept her brunette locks up into a messy high bun.

The actress shared a sneak peek of her outfit on Instagram, captioning the photo, “hi london 🇬🇧.”

Sweeney has been on a sartorial roll.

Last week, she attended an Acqua for Life event hosted by Armani Beauty, showing up in a dazzling purple-and-blue fishnet maxi dress, which included a purple bandeau with a circular ripple pattern and a pinstriped skirt. She accessorized with hot pink stud earrings, which matched her pink eye shadow.

And prior to that, Sweeney wowed at the LACMA Art + Film Gala earlier this month. There, she wore a dreamy cotton candy pink minidress hailing from Giambattista Valli’s fall 2022 couture collection. The dress featured a deep V-neckline, delicate pleating across the bodice and skirt, and voluminous sleeves covered in dainty rose-shaped adornments. She completed the look with matching pink stockings and dramatic glittering silver platform heels, also from Giambattista Valli.
