The star has repeatedly hit headlines for all the wrong reason recently.

And yet again she has returned to the spotlight, this time for exposing herself.

On Monday evening the Mean Girls actress suffered an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction.

Lindsay was attending a party for De Grisgono founder Fawaz Gruosi’s 64th birthday at Hotel Cala di Volpo in Porto-Cervo in Italy, when she accidentally exposed far too much of her modesty.

The redheaded actress – who travelled to Sardinia after a huge bust-up with her fiance Egor Trabasov – was sporting a revealing low-cut blue frock.

As she posed for snaps over dinner, the beauty accidentally flashed her right nipple for all to see.

Clearly unaware of the fashion fail, Linds continued to pose and smile for the camera, even taking a selfie with Ricky Yune as she was blissfully ignorant.

However, later on in the evening the flame-haired actress changed into a much more covered-up ensemble instead. Sensible, really.

After realising she was leaving very little to the imagination, she swapped the blue frock out for a red and cream outfit instead.

She was also spotted chatting to an unlikely friend, singer Shaggy.

Despite some seriously tough weeks, the star appears to be in good spirits.

Last week a shocking video – filmed by an onlooker in Mykonos, Greece – appeared to show billionaire Egor violently grab Lindsay and twist her arm behind her back, as he tried to grab a phone from her hand.

The clip went viral and Lindsay claimed it was just one of several assaults she’s been subjected to in her relationship.

She said: “I realise now you can’t stay in a relationship just for love.

“No woman can be hit and stay with that person if that person isn’t prepared to say sorry.”
