Lindsay Lohan hit the waves in Malibu on Tuesday, having fun in the surf and on the beach with friends.
Lohan was spotted surfing in the water — and lighting up a cigarette back on the sand.

The actress is enjoying her time in the great outdoors after being released from house arrest in June. Lohan was accused of theft from a jewelry store earlier this year, and she pleaded no contest to the charge. However, the theft charge violated her probation — stemming from a 2007 drunken driving charge — she was sentenced to four months in jail.

Even though she’s a free woman, Lohan is stil required to complete 480 hours of community service.
