If you were a fan of Maddy and Kat when Euphoria aired this summer, hold on to your seats because the duo is back in full force — at least in the pages of Numéro Berlin.
Actors Alexa Demie and Barbie Ferreira recently reunited for the magazine’s latest cover shoot, twinning in sheer leopard minidresses that their characters would absolutely rock. Can’t you just picture Kat wearing hers with a leather harness to school? Or Maddy rocking one for a fall formal?
The dresses in question are courtesy designer LaQuan Smith, a body-positive favorite of celebs like Beyoncé, Rihanna, and Kylie and Kendall Jenner. The pattern is a signature of the designer — his ASOS collection featured the print, as did his Fall 2019 RTW collection.
After the shoot was unveiled, the designer posted two cute pics of Alexa and Barbie posing together in his work. Though they might appear identical at first sight, Alexa’s dress has thin spaghetti straps, while Barbie’s is a classic strapless. Both are sheer shiny latex and worn with matching black thong underwear beneath, as well as matching simple, ankle-strap pumps. The overall look perfectly proves leopard never really goes out of style. It’s a little bit old-school glamour and a little bit edgy — just like the two Euphoria stars.
It looks like beauty (and fashion) icon in the making Alexa has been feeling leopard print lately. Just a few days ago, the actor posted a pic of herself with leopard print eyeshadow.
Now that we’ve been blessed with these pics, we’re especially excited for the return of Euphoria. Since its premiere, Euphoria has reignited a passion for brightly colored, glittery makeup looks and fun, fantastically expressive clothing. From black leather and harnesses à la Kat or cheeky to throwback matching sets like Maddy’s and Jules’s dreamy fits, the HBO series offered sartorial inspiration for everyone.
Euphoria has already been picked up for a second season and we’ll surely be getting more iconic style moments. However, a premiere date is yet to be disclosed so until then, we’ll be looking to the stars’ Instagram accounts for fabulous IRL fashion moments like this one.
