Beer says her brother took the brunt of her fame
In the interview, Beer confessed that music has been therapeutic for her. Writing and playing music helped her to feel more grounded. She also talked about how her brother was affected by her career early into their childhood.

Beer said that her acting life started when she was 12 and her younger brother was 9. Madison revealed that she and her entire family was swept away by this sudden opportunity that presented itself to them. She said she now feels like her fame resulted in her brother getting ignored for a while by their parents.

She mentions that she felt bad realizing these, but now she and her brother and much closer than they used to be. Beer also seems to think that the fact that her fame negatively affected her brother brings a certain guilt that she is desperate to overcome through proper communication.
