U.K. dance-pop star Dua Lipa brought her new H๏τ 100 top 40 hit “Don’t Start Now” to the American Music Awards at the Microsoft Theater this Sunday night (Nov. 24), in a shimmering, choreography-heavy performance.
.
Rocking a blonde ponytail, Dua delivered a performance with the confidence of a returning hitmaker, as she and a variety of backup dancers strutted and danced around a number of cube-shaped side tables.

At the end, an array of silver, cushion-shaped balloons fell from the theater roof, which continued to bounce around in front of the camera well after the performance had ended.
“Don’t Start Now,” expected to be the lead single from Dua’s much-anticipated forthcoming sophomore LP, falls at No. 46 on the H๏τ 100 this week, after debuting at No. 30 the week before. The song is her third top 40 hit on the chart, following “New Rules,” which peaked at No. 6 in 2018, and the Calvin Harris collab “One Kiss,” which hit No. 26 later that year.
