Katy Perry Suffers Wardrobe Malfunction During Live Stream in Chainmail Jumpsuit

Katy Perry just suffered the wardrobe malfunction of my nightmares — and it wasn’t intentional. During a performance in Los Angeles, California on Monday, the singer looked phenomenal on stage in a matching top, pants, and scarf made of chainmail. After performing Swish Swish, her pants split at the crotch. Though the photographers sitting front row were reportedly quickly rushed away, it certainly wasn’t in time for the entire event to be viewed by anyone who happened to be there or watching the live-stream video of the performance.

Not even a full-on pants-splitting wardrobe malfunction could keep Katy from the stage, though. The singer reportedly announced to the crowd, “I have a hole in my pants. Letting it all hang out now. So, okay.” Though she went on to perform Power and Roar — adding “Don’t look over here,” while pointing to her crotch and crossing her legs — the live stream promptly ended so she wouldn’t have to worry about her newly air-vented trousers.

Now that’s how to deal with a true wardrobe mishap like a pro. Katy Perry for the win!
