Lindsay Lohan dropped some cold hard cash when she rented an ice cream sandwich truck for the crew working on her Netflix romantic comedy.
Sources close to the actress tell Radar, Lindsay wanted to do something nice for the staff because everyone has been working hard. We’re told she felt the special treat would be uplifting and make everyone happy.
The film has been shooting in Salt Lake City, Utah for the past couple of weeks. Sources tell us the crew has fallen in love with Lindsay and she’s been an absolute pro on set.
The film costars Chord Overstreet and is set to be released next year. Lindsay is set to play a “newly engaged, spoiled hotel heiress” who gets amnesia after a skiing accident.
The Mean Girls star’s character finds herself in the “care of a handsome, blue-collar lodge owner and his precocious daughter in the days leading up to Christmas.”
In the first promo shot, Lindsay looks stunning as she stands with Chord on a snowy set.
The film is Lindsay’s first major film since 2013’s The Canyons and her fans have expressed their excitement over the new project.
Lindsay moved to Dubai a couple years back and avoided Hollywood while she focused on other gigs. She starred in her own iconic MTV reality show Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club in 2019. The superstar also released another dance track Back To Me, and was a judge on Australia’s The Masked Singer.

Lindsay’s personal life is also thriving. She recently announced her engagement to her longtime boyfriend, Bader Shammas.
She announced the news by posting a series of photos with Bader on Instagram. In the snaps, Lilo is smiling from ear to ear while her man holds on tight to her. In one photo, Lindsay flashed her massive engagement ring. “My love. My life. My family. My future,” she wrote. Bader is a very private person who has no interest in the spotlight.
Lindsay’s mother Dina Lohan commented on the post, “My heart is full. #engaged #newbeginnings.”
