That was fast! Singer and actress Demi Lovato made a drastic hair change last weekend when she dyed her luscious locks a gorgeous shade of blonde, but barely a week later, she’s already back to her natural hair color.

The 24-year-old “Body Say” singer debuted her new light locks on Instagram last weekend, but after performing a few concerts with her blonde hair, it appears she wasn’t feeling it. Yesterday, Lovato posted a picture to her Instagram story, showing fans that she’s back to brunette again. In the snapshot, she’s lounging in bed in casual attire, and her short brown hair is covering her face. She captioned the image with “Back to brown.”

Even if blonde wasn’t working for Lovato, we surely enjoyed seeing her lighter shade—if only for a week. The “Confident” songstress posted several shots of her new ‘do on Instagram, including a few from her performance in Mexico City. For the show, Lovato wore a black long-sleeve body suit that showed off her killer curves, as well as a pair of thigh-high boots. Under one of her images, she wrote, “Feeling confident with this blonde! Show your inner light and feel it too!” Well, it was fun while it lasted.
