Lindsay Lohan is truly embracing a calm lifestyle, as she looks happy and chilled out on holiday in Thailand.

The Mean Girls actress is enjoying a break at a luxury resort on the island of Phuket, and seems to be soaking up the tranquility of her surroundings.

Lindsay posted a picture to Instagram of her looking calm and peaceful in a pool, with her eyes shut and arms outstretched in the shadow of a small temple. She captioned the shot, “Namaste”.

The previous day, Lindsay posted a picture of her wearing a white scarf covering her head, with the caption, “Don’t judge a book by its cover” in both English and Arabic.

Lindsay revealed earlier this year that she had taken an interest in studying Islam and reading the Quran.

In February, she recalled an incident when she was racially profiled at Heathrow airport for covering her head with a scarf.
