St. Vincent and Dua Lipa Link Up For ‘Masseduction’ & ‘One Kiss’ Medley

Two of modern music’s most exciting singer-songwriters, St. Vincent and Dua Lipa, combined for a performance at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday night (Feb. 10).

The performance started with St. Vincent solo on stage with her electric guitar, performing a stripped-down version of the title track to her acclaimed 2017 LP MASSEDUCTION. Dua Lipa emerged from behind her on the stage, and after a brief interlude of the two chanting the refrain to Aretha Franklin’s version of “Respect,” they transitioned into Dua Lipa’s Calvin Harris-produced dance megahit “One Kiss,” with St. Vincent providing riffs and occasional vocal support.

Both artists were Grammy winners earlier in the night, with St. Vincent taking best rock song for “Masseduction” and Dua Lipa receiving best dance recording for her Silk City collaboration “Electricity.” Following the duo’s performance, Dua Lipa was also announced as this year’s winner for best new artist.
