Ariana Grande Reportedly ‘Is Frustrated’ But Is Being Asked to Stay Silent on Taylor Swift-Scooter Braun Drama

Ariana Grande, one of Scooter Braun’s pop star clients, wants to speak out on his drama with Taylor Swift and his ownership of her masters, Variety is reporting. But Braun is asking her not to.

A source told Variety that “she’s frustrated by the whole thing.” The source went on to suggest that Grande wants to speak out, but Braun “is encouraging all of his acts to stay out of it.” The New York Times reports that Grande did post an Instagram congratulating Braun on his Big Machine Records deal, which included his acquiring Swift’s music catalog, but then deleted it, “which some have read as covert support for Ms. Swift,” the outlet wrote.

Two of Braun’s other clients, Justin Bieber and Demi Lovato, have already spoken out in support of Braun. Bieber wrote a long Instagram post addressed to Swift in particular, defending himself and Braun. “Neither scooter or i have anything negative to say about you we truly want the best for you. I usually don’t reʙuттal things like this but when you try and deface someone i loves character thats crossing a line..”

Lovato, meanwhile, wrote two Instagram Stories in support of Braun last night. “I have dealt with bad people in this industry and Scooter is not one of them,” she started. “He’s a good man. Personally, I’m grateful that he came into my life when he did. Please stop ‘dragging’ people or bullying them. There’s enough hate in this world as it is. Y’all can come after me all you want but I’m always gonna stay loyal to my team. I value loyalty more than most people in this world and if my name is gonna be brought into conversations I’m gonna stand up for myself and the ones on my team.”
