Britney Spears floored fans when she took to social media and posted 11 racy snaps – completely naked.

The star has now finally spoken about taking the sexy snaps and said that she gets “joy” from taking pictures of herself. Britney is well known for posting risqué videos on Instagram and even recently posted one where she was dancing provocatively around a pole.

In an excerpt from her upcoming Memoir, The Woman In Me, obtained by The Daily Mail, the star reportedly said: ““I know that a lot of people don’t understand why I love taking pictures of myself naked or in new dresses. But I think if they’d been photographed by other people thousands of times, prodded and posed for other people’s approval, they’d understand that I get a lot of joy from posing the way I feel sexy and taking my own picture.”

Fans may remember when Britney took to Instagram last July with a slew of sexy snaps. In one of the pictures she was grabbing her boobs and another saw her streched out across a bed wearing nothing but a blue thong.

A lot of fans loved the picture and flocked to the comments section to gush over the star. However the pictures did spark some concerns from som of her followers and they shared their opinion.

One said: “Just stop with these kind of videos and posts. You are free now. Live your wonderful life not the one on social media.” A second person penned: “You are so fab but I just don’t understand the need for these posts all the time.”
