has finally found her path and sound within the music industry. Through rock—with the support of drum percussion and electric guitar riffs—the star has managed to enhance her powerful vocal range on «HOLY FVCK,» her latest studio album.

Following the same path, the artist has decided to infuse her great hits with that rockstar spirit in Revamped, a project that has revisited, reimagined, and reedited ten songs from at least three of her previous works. A collection of songs that have moved away from the predominant bubblegum pop of their original versions to evolve into new, stronger, and edgier hits.

For this album, Lovato has surrounded herself with great friends and collaborators who have contributed their personal touch to give a facelift to all these songs. Slash (Guns N’ Roses), The Maine, Nita Strauss, and Bert McCracken have joined the performer on «Sorry Not Sorry,» «Neon Lights,» «La La Land,» and «Give Your Heart a Break,» respectively.

In fact, «La La Land» and «Don’t Forget» are two of the songs that come closest to pop-rock, and Demi has wanted to give them a twist; in other words, to freshen them up for the present, for the life moment that both she and her fans are going through. Because it goes without saying that many of her followers have grown up (and matured hand in hand) with her music since the beginning of her career.

«Breathing new life into the songs that played a huge role in my career has allowed me to feel closer to my music than I have ever been before,» she expressed a few weeks ago on her social media. Today, we can finally listen to them and confirm that indeed, all that remains from that Camp Rock era—and her Disney era—is rock. And we love it.
