Demi Lovato is all smiles as she hits the red carpet at the 2017 Global Citizen Festival held at the Barclaycard Arena on Thursday (July 6) in Hamburg, Germany.
The 24-year-old entertainer hit the stage to introduce Nadia Murad, a Yazidi refugee who survived sex slavery at the hands of ISIS.
“I’m proud to work with Mizun and Nadia, two determined refugees and survivors championing important causes that will take steps to ensure the mental health and well-being for all refugees,” Demi expressed – Watch the full speech below!
Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada, and Ellie Goulding also hit the stage at the festival. Ellie performed her hits “Burn,” “First Time” and “Love Me Like You Do.”
