After making an elegant appearance in a floor-sweeping gown at the X Factor final last weekend, Demi Lovato changed into something a little more risque prior to stepping out on stage on Thursday night.

The singer performed an energetic set at Chicago’s Jingle Ball at Allstate Arena in a rather brave fashion choice.

She wowed crowds in a tight pair of black lycra pants and a sexy white crop top, which showed off her shapely curves in all its glory.

Wearing her short dark locks loose and swept to one side, Demi highlighted her pretty complexion with winged eyeliner and bright red lippy.

The American star happily got the crowds to their feet as she sang through some of her hits, while gyrating her hips on the dance floor.

Before her sizzling performance, she took to Twitter to write: ‘Chicago. #1035KISSFMJingleBall. Let’s do this.’

Meanwhile, Demi – who once suffered from an eating disorder – recently admitted she no longer feels bad for having a fuller shape and has credited reality TV queen Kim Kardashian.

‘I really learned to accept my body when the trend started to become less about the super skinny models that was completely unattainable for anybody to have,’ she told Allure magazine.
