But Dua Lipa made a sensational arrival on Wednesday, as she attended a private dinner hosted by Alejandro Agag to celebrate the World Premiere of Formula E documentary And We Go Green during the 72nd Annual Film Festival.

The singer, 23, stunned in a form-fitting black silk dress as she caught up with pal Orlando Bloom in the garden at the glitzy star-studded bash.

The animated New Rules hitmaker posed up a storm for the cameras, showcasing her best pout before cheekily sticking out her tongue in a jokey fashion.

Dua displayed her sizzling physique in the showstopping gown, which closely hugged her frame before billowing out into a sultry sheer skirt.

The star teamed her evening attire with a chunky statement black choker which was decorated with a ginormous heart-shaped diamond.

Dua added further glitz to her look with a dazzling bejewelled evening bag, which no doubt held all of her necessities for the night, as well as a selection of rings.

The One Kiss songstress wore her raven tresses in a loose tousled style, while opting for a heavy black eyeliner look and a slick of peach lipstick.

At the event Dua hung out with her unlikely friend Orlando, who she appears to have forged a firm friendship with judging by her recent comments following his engagement to Katy Perry.

After the news broke Dua referred to the newly engaged couple as ‘Mum and Dad’ during a post on social media congratulating the pair.

Orlando looked equally dashing in a retro pinstripe suit, which he teamed with a cream shirt and tie and a pair of shiny black dress shoes.

The Troy actor was pictured touching down in Nice earlier in the day without his ladylove, before making an arrival at the swanky dinner.

Dua, who is dating celebrity chef boyfriend Isaac Carew, also appeared to be flying solo for her first outing at this year’s film festival.
