Dua Lipa looked incredible when she attended The Hollywood Reporter‘s ‘Women in Entertainment’ event on Thursday, December 7th, alongside other A-listers such as Adele, Kerry Washington, and Camila Cabello.
For her stunning red carpet appearance, the 28-year-old “Houdini” singer wore a strapless floor-length black dress by Tom Ford, which featured a super-daring thigh-high slit on one side. She also added a statement belt, although it wasn’t worn on the hips, waist, or even under the bust – it was actually worn at the very top of the dress. And naturally, the “New Rules” hitmaker owned it!
Dua Lipa Feels ‘So Lucky And So Energized’ To Attend ‘Women In Entertainment’ Event
The Barbie actress presented $1M in college scholarships to high school seniors from underserved communities in Los Angeles at the gala, and had some very emotional things to say. “I feel so lucky and so energized to be here with you guys this morning,” the “Levitating” singer said, adding, “It just feels very very special to be here for such a wonderful initiative.”
The “Sweetest Pie” singer shared some pictures of herself at the event (including one of her posing with Adele, which understandably drove her fans wild!) with her 88.4M Instagram followers on December 7th.
She captioned her post: “GOODMORNING HOLLYWOOD!!! 8am glamourrrr to go and hang out with some of Hollywood’s most inspiring women with a wonderful initiative to provide over $1M in university scholarships to high school seniors across LA who are a part of the @hollywoodreporter Women In Entertainment Mentorship Programme.” She finished off with a red heart emoji, and added: “Thank you for having me today!”
