After years of court appearances, arrests and messy nights out, we’re used to opening pictures of Lindsay Lohan with a sense of foreboding.

We’re not in the market of writing mean things about people, but it’s always a little bit tricky to say anything very positive.

But not today. Because today Lindsay Lohan is at Coachella looking pretty and young and happy and a bit like she used to look, before everything went… a bit weird. She was also ginger again, which we favour.

As well as Lohan’s appearance, the third day of Coachella – AKA the world’s coolest festival – saw a performance by Rihanna, wearing tiny shorts (standard) and being mobbed (standard).

She was also seen hanging out with best mate Katy Perry, and the celeb count was upped by attendees like Florence Welch, Vanessa Hudgens and one of our all time favourite couples Joshua Jackson and Diane Kruger.
