Hospital thanks Ariana Grande for sending Christmas gifts to young patients for fifth year

Singer/songwriter Ariana Grande has once again brought some Christmas joy to people across Manchester hospitals by continuing her five-year tradition of sending gifts for young patients.

The charity for Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital shared the news alongside some pictures of the gifts the ‘One Last Time’ singer had sent. In their tweet they wrote: ‘⭐ Thank you Ariana! ⭐ We were so excited to receive Christmas gifts for young patients across our hospitals from Ariana Grande 🎁 ⭐ Thank you Ariana! ⭐. The presents were distributed to babies, children and teenagers at @RMCHosp, @TraffordHosp, @WythenshaweHosp and @NorthMcrGH_NHS.’

Many replied to the tweet with comments including: ‘She has the sweetest and kindest soul 🤍’, ‘More wonderful people like Ariana in the world please. So thoughtful 💛🐝”, ‘She is the kindest 💖💝’ and many more.

On May 22nd 2017, a horrific terrorist attack at the Ariana Grande concert at the Manchester Arena claimed the lives of 22 people: Saffie-Rose Roussos, Nell Jones, Sorrell Leczkowski, Eilidh MacLeod, Megan Hurley, Olivia Campbell-Hardy, Chloe Rutherford, Liam Curry, Georgina Callandar, Courtney Boyle, Philip Tron, John Atkinson, Martyn Hett, Kelly Brewster, Elaine McIver, Angelika Klis, Marcin Klis, Alison Howe, Lisa Lees, Michelle Kliss, Wendy Fawell and Jane Tweddle.

Hundreds of others were also hurt, with Ariana visiting injured fans in hospital. During this time she formed a relationship with the hospitals and for the last five years has sent presents at Christmas for young patients.
