I tried Lindsay Lohan’s ‘Dirty Pepsi’ with milk – it had a surprisingly familiar flavor, I may leave some out for Santa

LINDSAY Lohan’s new Pepsi commercial is going viral because of a controversial recipe.

The actress laid out a glass of “Pilk” for Santa, a combination of Pepsi and milk, and we decided to put it to the test.

In the video, Lindsay poured herself some “nice” (a tall glass of Pepsi) and added in some “naughty,” (a bit of milk) culminating in “Dirty Pepsi,” or. affectionately, “Pilk.”

The commercial has earned a lot of attention on social media, mainly because fans aren’t all convinced the drink pairing would be any good — in fact, some have called it “disgusting,” “horrifying,” and even “heathenous.”

But while this ad campaign is definitely buzzworthy, it didn’t invent the idea of “dirty” soda.

Olivia Rodrigo went viral for drinking dirty soda on TikTok several months ago, and Laverne famously drank it on the 1970s popular sitcom Laverne & Shirley.

Obviously, we set out to see if it was worth the hype — or if the skeptics are right.

I had seen comments flooding TikTok videos about how gross the drink was, but also suspected it was actually quite tasty as Pilk is quite popular in South Asian communities (also, there’s dairy in soda floats, so how bad could it be?).

I rushed out to the grocery store to pick up the necessary ingredients.

Thankfully, the recipe was simple: Pepsi and milk.

However, the task of choosing the milk proved to be much more arduous than expected.

Would fat-free milk suffice? Did it have to be whole milk?

What about the lactose-intolerant community, would they be unlucky enough (or lucky, who knows?) to be exempt from trying this concoction due to irritable bowels?

Would oat milk be even naughtier? Only Santa could really say at the end of the day.

I ended up going with fat-free, which I felt was a nice in-between.

After acquiring all the things needed, I lined up each item, grabbed a glass, and added some ice.

Who wants a lukewarm glass of milk and Pepsi? Naught-I…

I filled the glass up about three-quarters of the way and topped it off with some milk.

I was surprised to see the milk swirl through the drink immediately like adding milk to a glass of coffee.

After taking a sip, I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was, kind of similar to a cold brew with milk but sweeter and with a carbonated kick, or a watered-down root beer float.

Although I do think that a glass of milk is a classic pairing with a plate of cookies for the fat man who comes visiting every year, I wouldn’t be opposed to setting out a glass of Dirty Pepsi for him.

Rest assured, Santa wouldn’t leave you coal for giving him some Dirty Pepsi.
