She’s one of the most beloved stars of both the small and silver screens, and she was nominated Sunday for her fourth Golden Globe.

Jennifer Aniston was elegant and chic in all black at the ritzy awards event, in a gorgeous ruffled strapless gown with a grand train.

Another standout element in Jen’s ensemble was the chunky ring adorning her left ring finger, but it was not immediately apparent what the piece of jewelry meant.

Just last week, the Friends star, 50, was seen vacationing in Mexico with Will Speck, the director of her 2016 comedy Office Christmas Party.

They were also pictured saying a fond farewell back in October after a dinner in Los Angeles, California.

And while it was confirmed that the ring on Sunday — an Art Deco ring with a pair shaped diamond set in platinum by Cartier — was simply on loan for the night, all eyes were on Aniston inside the event for a different reason.

DailyMail.com learned the former couple would be seated ‘feet apart’ at separate but nearby tables in the ballroom at the Beverly Hilton H๏τel where the awards show was held.

Aniston and Pitt were married from 2000 to 2005, when they split after Brad fell for his Mr. & Mrs. Smith co-star Angelina Jolie.

But on Sunday, Jennifer commanded attention of her own in her sublime gown, which featured a delicately ruffled chest panel and a tasteful thin black belt cinching her waist.

She wore her long hair down and parted at the middle, and accessorized with a double-layered diamond necklace along with THAT ring on her left hand.

Her manicure was a delicate shade of pink.

As for Jen’s nomination on Sunday, it was for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series – Drama for her lead role on the Apple TV series The Morning Show.

And while she didn’t win the trophy, having lost to Olivia Colman for her role on The Crown, Jennifer already has a Globe for her star-making turn as Rachel Green, which she received in 2003.

In the interim, she was also nominated for a Globe in 2015 for her acclaimed starring role in the feature film Cake.

Later in Sunday’s broadcast, Jen’s ex-husband Brad did win the Globe he was nominated for — Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture for his role of stuntman Cliff Booth in Once Upon a Time… In Hollywood.

And Aniston watched on somewhat adoringly as Brad gave his acceptance speech.

The pair of exes are said to be friends, with Brad even attending Jen’s 50th birthday party last year.

Jen, meanwhile, is also executive producer of The Morning Show, along with her costar Reese Witherspoon, with whom she presented at the start of Sunday’s awards ceremony.

Stopping by to chat with Ryan Seacrest ahead of the event on Sunday afternoon, Aniston referred to her chance to produce the show as a ‘perfect storm.’

‘I’ve been producing for last ten years,’ she told Ryan.

‘We were not finding the roles that we felt excited about, so we took matters into our own hands,’ she explained, referring to her own production company Echo Films.And as for how she was feeling on the day of the big show, Jen had this to say: ‘Trying to hold on тιԍнт and be excited!’
