Katy Perry was hailed a “goddess” by her loyal fans after she dazzled in a recent glam snap for her stint on American Idol.

The Teenage Dream songstress, 38, took to Instagram on Sunday (March 5), where she uploaded several eye-popping pictures of her in a gorgeous plaid mini-dress.

Katy’s stunning figure-hugging ensemble included multiple plaid fabrics stitched together and had a high-thigh slash that teased her pins.

The gorgeous American Idol judge looked done up to the max for her appearance on the hit singing show as one snap’ saw her pose with one hand resting on her head while she gave a sultry stare towards the camera.

In another, Katy flaunted her svelte frame, displaying the stylish details of her vibrant outfit as she gave a gentle pout to her gushing followers.

The Fireworks singer opted for an explosion of glamorous eye-make-up, including vibrant pink and green pastel eye-shadows and shimmery matte rouge lips.

Her caption to her 193million Instagram followers read: “Good girl gone PLAID (or at least back to prismatic vibes) on #americanidol tonight @ 8/7c [kiss face emoji]”.

Of course, her loyal legion of followers were quick to inundate her with gushing compliments, with one fan even comparing her to a “goddess”.

One adored follower wrote: “You’ll always be my celebrity crush, you goddess.”

While a second commented: “Katy, you look absolutely fantastic in this.”

A third gushing fan chimed in with: “Bringing 2013 back one plaid at a time,” and a fourth admirer commented: “My favourite celebrity ever.”

As American Idol powers into season 21, the California Girls musician has been a much-loved part of the judge’s panel since 2019, co-judging alongside Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan.

Outside of her singing abilities and American Idol stint, Katy – who’s engaged to Hollywood heart-throb Orlando Bloom – is the first to admit some racy bedroom confessions.
