The singer heads home to perform in Los Angeles on the American leg of her year-long Prismatic tour

Katy Perry is no stranger to bold fashion statements and her crazy tour outfits are no exception.

The singer brought her Prismatic world tour to her hometown of Los Angeles on Friday for two nights at the city’s Staples Center.

From pink catsuits to a glow-in-the-dark dress, Katy went through no less than nine different costume changes as she belted her way through some of her hits.

Fans were treated to all the old classics including Kissed a Girl and Hot n Cold , as well as a selection of Katy’s newer material.

Kicking off the concert with a roof raising rendition of ROAR, the 29-year-old had clearly been looking forward to heading back home for a couple of days.

Posting a snap on Twitter the singer said: “Hi hometown… It’s just gonna be one big family reunion tonight!”

Katy kicked off her Prismatic tour in Northern Ireland in May this year but it will be May 2015 before the singer can take a break.

After America, Katy is heading to Mexico, and then on to Australia and New Zealand before finishing the final leg in Europe.

And when we say no break, the singer is taken two months off after Christmas – so we’re sure she’ll be fine.
