Katy Perry sizzled on Sunday in a sexy futuristic bodysuit and pink latex leggings as she performed at the KIIS FM Wango Tango event.

And the singer rewarded herself with a slice of cake as she emerged from The Nice Guy in West Hollywood on Saturday night.

She wasn’t as fond, though, of the cherry pie DJ Chuey Martinez served her on the red carpet, spitting it out and calling it ‘disgusting,’ as seen in red carpet coverage video KIIS FM have posted to Facebook.

She and DJ Chuey wound up feeding each other mouthfuls for the cameras – ‘It’s like a wedding!’ Katy quipped – before her revulsion became clear on her face.

Though the DJ trumpeted the moment as his ‘career highlight,’ Katy grimaced before vamping: ‘This is disgusting,’ to laughs from Chelsea and Chuey.

Katy seemed happier with the dessert she chowed down on that evening at The Nice Guy, having donned a funky tasselled dress to the hot spot.

Her treat-filled evening topped off a powerhouse few days which has also seen the 32-year-old become the ‘top choice’ for judge on the American Idol reboot.

Katy looked completely at ease as she giggled up a storm while exiting the upscale eatery – all while whetting her appetite.

Despite a day of glamorous outfit changes, Katy ensured she did no wrong on the style front with the glittering multi-coloured dress.

She teamed the look with a pair of racy thigh-high suede boots, which allowed her to sexily strut out of the restaurant.

Reports via TMZ have emerged of Katy being a hot favourite to join the judging panel for American Idol – which is being brought to ABC following its cancellation last year.

The show, which premiered in 2002 with the original line-up of Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Paula Abdul, is reportedly keen on Perry taking the first highly coveted seat.

Sources tell the site, that Katy is also ‘very interested’ and ‘is open to scheduling potential tour dates around the show’s taping schedule’.

The songstress was hard to miss in a futuristic inspired neon bodysuit, tight pink suspender leggings and silver boots as she showcased her vocal prowess.

On Friday, she shocked fans with a video for her single Bon Appetit featuring rap group Migos, which shows a nearly-naked Katy being covered in flour while a group of male chefs knead her body like pizza dough.

While talking to KIIS-FM about the music video on the red carpet, Perry said, ‘It’s purposeful pop for sure but it’s not just one thing that’s purposeful.

‘For me the whole record is this 360 degree liberation. Mental liberation, sexual liberation, negative liberation, spiritual liberation.’

Katy especially stood out on the red carpet in her yellow dress since the fashion theme of the night appeared to be black and white outfits with Halsey, Camilla Cabello, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Corinne Olympios and Olivia Holt all sticking to the simple color scheme.
