Even a pair of jeans is a fashion statement for basketball moms Kim Kardashian! The SKIMS expert, 42, showed up for her 7-year-old son Santa West‘s latest basketball game in Thousand Oaks, Calif. on Friday, April 14th and looking as chic as ever in jeans. In pictures, which you can see below, Kim rocked a fitted black turtleneck, a pair of super baggy Carhartt jeans with huge front pockets and a pair of chic sunglasses for the game.
She paired the look with gray pointed toe boots underneath and of course her makeup glam was spot on. The Kardashian beauty wore her famously long, dark tresses directly around her shoulders for the weekend getaway. In another picture, she lovingly wrapped her arm around Saint as she took the lucky child to the islands for dinner after the game.
Kim is also frequently seen in person at basketball games for her eldest child, daughter northwest9. And her ex-husband too Kanye Westfrom whom she finalized her divorce in November 2022. The reality TV queen opened up about co-parenting with the controversial rapper in a December 2022 interview — and trying to shield her from his seemingly constant stream of volatility.
“If they don’t know what’s being said or what’s happening in the world, why would I bring them this energy?” she said during an interview with Angie Martinez on the IRL podcast. “This is really heavy adult s*** they can’t handle.”
She added that she is protective of her ex in the “eyes of my kids, for my kids.” “One day my kids will thank me for sitting here and not hitting their dad when I could,” she told Angie. “They will thank me and I will privately answer anything they want to know. It’s no longer my place to step in.”
However, that doesn’t mean it won’t aggressively quell outside speculation.
