It might be almost October, but Kylie Jenner isn’t ready to hang up her summer swimsuit just yet. In signature KJ style, the 23-year-old beauty mogul has been showing off her latest Christian Dior two-piece on Instagram – a lively floral print bandeau top and low-rise bikini briefs. She styled the vintage swimwear with lashings of gold jewellery, and let her extra-long hair tumble down her back in perfect beachy waves.

She first shared her poolside pose with the caption “7th day of fall 👙”,  then returned to the grid with another two photos of her bikini — as well as something of a masterplan.

This time around, Kylie switched the bikini emoji for a succinct message encouraging her followers to register to vote at the link in her bio. She’s one of countless stars using their social media clout to encourage their followers to have their say in the upcoming US election.

The November 2020 election will either see Republican incumbent Donald Trump returned to the White House for a second term, or the Democratic candidate Joe Biden elected president. Hailey Bieber, Zoë Kravitz and Kylie’s sister Kendall Jenner, who hosted an Insta Live on the matter last week, have all been urging their millions of followers to make their voices heard on 3 November.

Kylie’s post has racked up 7.7 million likes thus far, so we can assume that at least a some of those who double tapped will have also hit the link in bio to register themselves to vote. Talk about an impactful thirst trap.
