One week before her jail sentence, Lindsay Lohan was feeling okay enough to pose in a sexy, black-and-white striped bikini for a sexy Maxim magazine cover shoot.

The actress shared her state of mind with the men’s magazine, too.

“I am feeling strong,” she said about her imminent jail sentence for violating her probation. “I’ve experienced a lot in my life,” she added, heaping praise on her mother Dina Lohan.

“My mom has given me a lot of faith. This too shall pass.”

The star, who is now ensconced in a rehab facility at UCLA Medical Center following her release from jail, shared her post-prison and rehab plans:

“To focus on myself and my work and to move all press on me to focus on the work I do. Also, I’d like to do more work in India and travel to Malawi.”

Advice for fans? “Stay true to yourself always. At the end of the day, you have to look at yourself in the mirror and be content with the choices you’ve made, and will make, in your life. Go with your gut!”

“Lindsay is with the utmost professionals and is in very good hands,” Dina Lohan told Radaronline on Monday after her daughter’s transfer to rehab.
