hile she stays mostly out of the spotlight these days, when Lindsay Lohan does emerge, she shuts the whole place down.
The Mean Girls star stepped out in New York City on Monday for a day of press in which she debuted two incredible, wildly different ensembles. The first was a striking, maximalist, monochrome look composed of metallic copper pieces. While they all blended together with their matching shimmery fabric, the standout design was a dramatic belted trench coat with curly beige-and-black fur at the collar. Lohan layered the coat over a top and straight-leg trousers in the same material and penny shade, and paired it with some pointy suede pumps in a rusty brown.
To break up the color scheme, Lohan added a pop of wine red in the form of a puffed leather bag with a chunky golden chain strap by Brandon Blackwood. She finished the look with large square tortoiseshell sunglasses and gold and diamond jewelry, including drop earrings, a one-diamond necklace, and some rings by Nina Runsdorf.
Her red hair, coordinating perfectly with her ensemble, was styled in a side-parted, wavy style, and she wore rosy makeup.
Having embraced the “more is more” aesthetic with her first outfit, Lohan went the opposite direction with her second, which consisted of all black staples. The star of 2003 cult classic Freaky Friday sat down for a talk on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in a sleek black jumpsuit with a twisty halter top in gold metal that doubled as a necklace; at the center, a large white crystal shone bright. Lohan wore simply a fitted black blazer by Amir Taghi over the jumpsuit and stuck to her same accessories.
Lohan is doing press for her new romantic comedy Irish Wish, which premieres later this month. She is also gearing up for a Freaky Friday sequel, which she confirmed on Andy Cohen’s SiriusXM show is actually happening! “We are both excited. I’m gonna speak for Jamie,” she joked, speaking of her onscreen mom in the film, Jamie Lee Curtis.
