Lindsay Lohan has been hitting the headlines for all the wrong reasons over the last few weeks.

And on Monday night, she returned to the spotlight – this time when she suffered an unfortunate wardrobe malfunction.

The Mean Girls actress was attending a party for De Grisgono founder Fawaz Gruosi’s 64th birthday at Hotel Cala di Volpe in Porto-Cervo in Sardinia, Italy, when she flashed more flesh than bargained for.

Lindsay, who travelled to the Italian hot spot after a bust-up with her fiance Egor Tarabasov, was dressed in a daring blue gown and as she posed for pictures while over dinner, the smiling star’s right nipple was exposed.

Seemingly oblivious to the fashion faux pas, the actress continued to smile for camera and also snapped a selfie with actor Ricky Yune.

Despite a tough few weeks, Lindsay definitely appears to be in better spirits.

Last week a shocking video – filmed by an onlooker in Mykonos, Greece – appeared to show billionaire playboy Egor violently grabbing Lindsay and twisting her arm behind her back as he tries to grab a phone from her hand.

The film went viral as Lindsay claimed it was just one of several assaults she has been subjected to in her 10-month relationship.

“I realise now you can’t stay in a relationship just for love,” she explained.

“No woman can be hit and stay with that person if that person isn’t prepared to say sorry.”
