‘Look, there’s your mommy!’ Kate Hudson’s daughter Rani, 4, holds cute Oscars viewing party with her friends and can’t believe it when she sees her parent taking to the stage

Kate Hudson’s daughter Rani held a cute Oscars party with her friends as she watched from the comfort of her home on Sunday night.

The four-year-old, who Kate shares with fiancé Danny Fujikawa was videoed as she watched the show with her little pal.

As Kate, 43, came on the stage with Janelle Monae and a gold card in hand, Rani’s friend shouted out: ‘Look, there’s your mommy, there’s your mommy. She’s holding hands with someone!’

The girls were sitting in front of the TV with makeshift dens and snacks as they were allowed to stay up a little later for the special night.

Kate looked incredible in a glittering gown as she took to the stage and she reposted the video of her child, writing: ‘Oscars, but make it cozy.’

Earlier in the night, one of ABC’s red carpet presenters had a bit of a faux pas when they interviewed Kate ahead of the 2023 Oscars ceremony.

Hudson stars in the Oscar-nominated film Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, but was not nominated for her acting.

However, when they interviewed her, they said: ‘Kate, you know what it’s like to win an Oscar.’

‘I have never won an Oscar,’ Kate corrected the host. ‘But I’ve been nominated!’ she laughed.

‘I gave you one in my head!’ the presenter replied.

‘I’m sure it’s amazing!’ Hudson added.

Kate was nominated in 2001 for her role as the groupie Penny Lane in Cameron Crowe’s comedy-drama, Almost Famous.
