The announcement has prompted speculation Demi had fallen out with singer Adam Lambert, who was initially rumoured to be supporting her on tour.
Adam took to Twitter to quash rumours of a feud, writing, ‘Aww I love you all very much. No beef tween @ddlovato & @nickjonas and me. Biz negotiations are complex- why do we care about the #rumours?’
Demi chimed in: ‘I [heart] you @adamlambert.’
