Madison Beer’s UK fans have made the same demand after the singer made an exciting announcement.
The singer, 24, revealed her memoir The Half Of It would be released in the UK this August, some four months after it dropped in the USA. In the book, the Good In Goodbye songstress gives a raw account of the past decade of her life spent in the spotlight.
She’s candid about her experience with mental health, how she battled suicidal thoughts while making her debut album Life Support, and her recovery since. Madison is close with her fans, both online and in person – but her memoir highlights that no matter how close the internet may make us feel to people, we truly don’t know the half of it.
In an Instagram post on Tuesday (August 8), Madison shared a photo of the memoir’s cover along with the caption: “The Half Of It coming to the UK 31. 8. 23”. The book retails for £20 and can be preordered via Amazon, WHSmiths or Waterstones.
UK fans were delighted to finally be able to get their hands on Madison’s book – but they also made a demand. Taking to Twitter, @effortlesssly asked: “uk book tour?!?@madisonbeer” while, tweeting the screenshot of Madison’s announcement, @sl**forboys*** echoed: “are u doing a uk book tour” with a smirking emoji, adding: “..my heart dropped when i saw it i thought it was a uk book tour announcement”.
In April the singer embarked on a five-date book tour across the USA. Fans received a signed copy of the memoir and had the chance to ask Madison questions during a moderated conversation
The star, who toured the UK last spring and played a show at Manchester Academy, is also set to release new music. Madison’s sophomore album Silence Between Songs debuts on September 15 – and the singer teased fans with hints about the 14-song track list.
In a short video clip shared on social media, she’s seen writing on a whiteboard which has the title of all the songs written out, with letters missing. Madison released the single ‘Home To Another One’ in June, which has already had more than 17 million streams on Spotify.
The Half Of It releases in the UK on August 31.
