Madison Beer Gets Emotional Over First Grammy Nomination

“Silence Between Songs” is nominated for Best Immersive Audio Album.

Madison Beer has achieved a major career milestone by earning her first Grammy nomination. On Friday, Nov. 10, the Recording Academy announced the nominations for the upcoming 2024 Grammys, which is set to air in February. Beer was happy to learn that her second studio album, Silence Between Songs, is competing for Best Immersive Audio Album. Other nominees in the category include Act 3, Blue Clear Sky, The Diary Of Alicia Keys, and God Of War Ragnarok. The “Reckless” singer reacted to the nomination on Instagram, where she got visibly emotional over the news.

Beer dropped Silence Between Songs on Friday, Sept. 15, via Epic Records and Sing It Loud. The record resulted in various hit singles, including “Spinnin” and “Dangerous.” Although her b-side track “King of Everything” didn’t become an official single, the song went viral among fans due to speculation that it’s about her former manager, Scooter Braun. Weeks after releasing Silence Between Songs, Beer announced she’ll be performing new material off her album on her Spinnin tour. The trek will begin in Stockholm, Sweden, on Saturday, Feb. 24, 2024.

Before Beer embarks on her tour, it’s possible she’ll attend the 2024 Grammys in Los Angeles on Sunday, Feb. 4. Silence Between Songs is up for Best Immersive Audio Album, marking Beer’s first-ever Grammy nomination.

The singer reacted to the exciting milestone on Instagram by sharing a photo dump of several accounts sharing the news on X. She also posted a short video of her getting emotional over earning her first Grammy nomination. Beer could be heard repeating “Oh my God!” in the clip, clearly in shock over the achievement. Her post featured a short, but sweet caption:

Countless fans congratulated Beer on her first Grammy nomination. Celebrities like Jennette McCurdy and Maggie Lindemann also left congratulatory comments underneath Beer’s Instagram announcing the good news.
