Madison Beer Offers the Audience Some ‘Sweet Relief’ on ‘Kimmel’

Madison Beer stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live to perform their current single “Sweet Relief.” The singer took to the late night stage in a silver glitter dress, where she and her live band performed the sensual song in an eerie playground.

“Sweet Relief” appears on Beer’s latest album Silence between songs, released earlier this fall. Last month, she released a music video for the track that evoked the ethos of the MySpace era.

Beer recently spoke to Rolling Stone reflecting on the album, younger versions of herself and how much she has changed. “It’s hard to think about who I was back then and how different my life was. I just feel like a completely different person,” Beer said. “I’m really proud of the person I am. I’m proud of the girl I was too. I’ve been able to absorb and learn so much over the last few years.”

To support her album, Beer will embark on a major world tour next year. As part of the Spinnin Tour, Beer will play 52 shows throughout 2024, starting with a European and UK conference from late February to March. Beer will then begin her North American tour on April 24th at Filmore in Minneapolis; The film opens June 13th at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles.

The Spinnin Tour is named after the opening track of Silence between songs. The album was Beer’s second studio effort following her debut in 2021. Life support. In the book, she speaks honestly about her struggles with depression throughout her youth, particularly in the weeks after her nude photos were leaked online and she was dropped from her label and management at the age of 16.
