Unfortunately, when it comes to fame, celebrities are held to individual standards that are typically placed on them by complete strangers.

A lot of people also forget that although they’ve signed up to put their life in the public eye, celebrities are still human beings, with regular human emotions. They have days when they don’t feel like taking photos, days where they just want to run to the grocery store with messy hair and sweatpants, and days where they just want to enjoy a nice meal with their family and friends.

So, when someone left an extremely rude message in Madison’s Instagram comments, she did what any person would do: respond with the same energy that stranger was giving them.

On Sunday, the singer shared a mirror selfie to her Instagram with the caption, “Lazing on a Sunday afternoon.”

And within minutes, someone decided to spread negativity on her page. The person made repulsive comments saying Madison’s “legs and arms are getting fatter” and that “we men only like skinny girls.”

But Madison wasted no time putting them in their place! She let the troll know their “preference” means nothing to her, because she wouldn’t touch them “with a 10-foot pole.”
