The long and winding road of Billie Eilish’s latest tour has come to an end.
The pop superstar delivered her last performance of the Happier Than Ever, The World Tour at day two of the Music Midtown 2023 at Piedmont Park in Atlanta, Georgia on Saturday.
The Ocean Eyes hitmaker appeared to be thoroughly enjoying herself while giving it her all on stage dressed in sheer black shorts that she matched with a white ‘Great Oak’ football jersey and sneakers.
Spicing up the style, the Los Angeles native also donned Sєxy black fishnet stockings and fingerless white gloves, along with an ᴀssortment of silver necklaces.
Rounding out her look for her swan song show, Eilish went with predominantly black locks, with touches of bright red on the roots and under layers of her hair.
The long tour, which began back in February 2022, was in support of her second studio album, Happier Than Ever (2021).
Eilish co-wrote the album with her brother and frequent collaborator Finneas O’Connell, who also produced the album and played every instrument.
Eilish cited self-reflection during the COVID-19 pandemic as the biggest inspiration for the record that drew heavily from her rise to fame as a teenager and the drawbacks that come with it.
initially, the tour consisted of 50 dates (32 in North America and 18 in Europe), but tickets sold out quickly, leading to the addition of more dates as the days and weeks went by.
During the global trek Eilish did her best to play all of the hits fans come to expect to hear, which include Ocean Eyes, Bad Guy, I Love You, NDA, When The Party’s, Everything I Wanted, OverTherefore I Am, and show opener Bury A Friend.
Ahead of Saturday’s show Eilish informed her fans that this would be the last of her long tour.
Taking to Instagram stories, the singer wrote, ‘Officially the last show of this whole tour tonight. Until next time my loves.’
She sent out the message over a pH๏τo of Hollywood leading man Ryan Gosling.
Singer and guitarist Matty Healy led the band’s 17-song performance alongside his childhood mates, Adam Hann (lead guitarist), Ross MacDonald (bᴀssist), and George Daniel (drummer and producer).
Healy was the picture of slick style in a chic black suit and a white shirt, while the rest of the guys would go with all-black ensembles.
Some of the other musical artists to hit the stage for day two include Niall Horan, Yung Gravy, Destroy Lonely, Louis The Child, Fletcher, Lizzie McAlpine, The Midnight, The Rose, Maude Latour, Sueco, Up Sahl, Sarah Kinsley, The Moss, Calder Allen and Ed Rox.
The third and final day of the festival will be headlined by legendary hard rockers, Gun N’ Roses and Lil Baby.
Earlier on Saturday Eilish informed her fans that she would perform the last show of her tour on Saturday.
Taking to Instagram stories, the singer wrote, “Officially the last show of this whole tour tonight. Until next time my loves.”
In a curious selection, the unique singer-songwriter used actor Ryan Ryan Gosling’s picture as the background of her message.
The end of the tour is likely welcome news for Eilish, considering her previous show at Electric Picnic 2023 in Stradbally, Leinster, Ireland she had been very ill.
