Rita Ora slips into a black cut out leotard as she auditions in front of Fatboy Slim in music video for new single Praising You

Rita Ora has unveiled the new music video for her latest single Praising You, taken from her new album You & I.

The singer, 32, is back in action with her latest record which comes five years after her most recent album Phoenix.

The hitmaker’s new single is called Praising You, a modern update of Fatboy Slim’s 1999 classic Praise You.

In behind the scenes snaps from the shoot, Rita looked incredible as she donned a black cut out leotard that highlighted her toned abdomen.

The star struck a playful pose on stage as she was joined by several backup dancers for the shoot.

Styling her dark blonde locks into loose waves, Rita also wore a pair of eye-catching gold earrings.

In the video, directed by her husband Taika Waititi, Rita arrives late for an open dance audition where she rushes to get changed before joining her fellow dancers on the floor.

Giving herself a pep talk in the mirror, she says: ‘You want fame? Fame costs. Right here is where you start paying in sweat. I’m a professional, this is what I was born to do.’

She then gives her fellow dancers words of encouragement, saying: ‘Now focus, we have come a long way to get here.’

Rita and her dancers perform their routine in front of Fatboy Slim himself, who initially looks deeply unimpressed before coming around to their talents.

The singer collaborated with Fatboy Slim, whose real name is Norman Cook, on the uptempo track.

She said: ‘To not only get Norman’s stamp of approval, but to actually collaborate with him and pay homage to such a massive song from my childhood was truly a surreal experience.

‘I think this record means something different for everyone, but from my perspective, it’s about praising your loved ones and really celebrating those relationships.

‘I’m incredibly honoured that we get to breathe new life into the song and re-introduce it to a whole new generation.’

Speaking of the rework, Norman added: ‘From a chance meeting late one night in the Naughty Corner at Glastonbury a friendship and collaboration grew that on paper may look unlikely. Yet here it is, and it has a life of its own!’

The accompanying video, directed by Rita’s husband Taika Waititi, sees her audition with a group of dancers for the role of their dreams and features a cameo from Fatboy Slim.

With a nod to the Praise You video, Rita leads the troupe through their haphazard routine, slowly winning over the judges in what turns into a massive Studio 54-esque number complete with glamorous outfit changes and stellar choreography

Rita will perform Praising You for the first time at the Eurovision Song Contest semi-final 1 on Tuesday May 9.
