Stunning influencer Malissa Nico is reported to be entering the Love Island villa this week as a brand new bombshell.

And her arrival may come as quite the surprise for her ex-boyfriend who is none other than iconic islander Jay Younger, 29.

During his time in the villa last summer Mal branded Jay a love rat and claimed to have teamed up with another woman that he had been cheating with.

A source told The Sun: ‘Apart from being party to Ekin-Su’s crawl, Jay didn’t make much of a splash in the villa. But outside was a different story, with his love life exposed for all to see.

‘Seeing Mal on Love Island will likely be a lot for Jay. She’s genuinely moved on, though, and doesn’t see going on the show as any kind of revenge or power move.

‘Mal is gorgeous, single and the life of the party. She just wants her own chance at finding love.’

MailOnline have contacted ITV for comment.

The Scottish influencer claimed at the time to have dated Jay for six months, shared an Edinburgh flat with him, and likened him to You character Joe Goldberg due to his pristine and ‘structured’ lifestyle.

She also claimed he dumped her days before she was due to spend Christmas with his family.

Branding him ‘jealous’ and ‘cutthroat’ over his behaviour.

Jay appeared on the 2022 series and quickly made an impression on his fellow Islanders, luring Ekin-Su Culculoglu away from Davide Sanclimenti before having his head turned by Paige Thorne.

After failing to win Paige’s affections, and upsetting partner Antigoni Buxton in the process, Jay found romance in Casa Amor, opting to bring Chyna Mills back into the main villa.

Yet things weren’t meant to be and the couple were dumped from the show after admitting their relationship was a platonic one.

Meanwhile on Monday’s episode things came to a heated row between Sammy and Jess, which ended in an awkward truce between the pair.

Jess was trying to figure out if she could trust Sammy, while Sammy was fuming she was still entertaining Mitch’s advances.

After shouting at each other before coming to an agreement Sammy then demanded that Jess ‘give him a smile’ so things could end on a good note.

But fans weren’t happy with his tone as one wrote on Twitter: ‘I’m actually tired of hearing Sammy speak. Leave my girl Jess alone #LoveIsland.’
