The celebrities were out in full force for Monday night’s Game 4 of the NBA playoff match between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Golden State Warriors, including Kim Kardashian and her mother Kris Jenner, with Kim proclaiming she ‘loves nerds.’
The 42-year-old Kim and her 67-year-old mother Kris were sitting courtside among a slew of celebrities at the game, which the Lakers ultimately won 104–101, to take a 3–1 lead over the defending NBA champions.
While he didn’t play on Monday night, Tristan Thompson — the ex of Kim’s sister Khloe Kardashian — is a part of the Lakers team.
The game comes months after Kim was blasted on social media for teaming up with Thompson for a ‘Friendsgiving’ celebration, just months after he had a secret baby with another woman.
Kim and Kris were just a handful of the celebs spotted courtside at Crypto.com Arena, along with Chris Pratt, Floyd Mayweather, Flea, Dyan Cannon and Jack Nicholson, to name just a few.
Kim stepped out wearing a tight white t-shirt that read, ‘I Love Nerds’ in black lettering, which was pulled up to expose her toned midriff.
She accessorized with a stunning gold and diamond necklace with a cross dangling from her neck and several gold rings.
The reality star had her jet-black hair pulled back in a ponytail, completing her look with fashionably ripped jeans and nude heels and a pink clutch.
She was seen sitting next to her mother Kris, who rocked an all-black look for the basketball game.
Kris took in the game wearing a black t-shirt under a black leather coat, black pants and white Nike sneakers.
Kim was also seen chatting with friend Sarah Staudinger, who opted for a strapless brown top, gold earrings, brown pants and black heeled boots.
Kim, Kris and Sarah were treated to quite the game, with the Lakers coming back in the fourth quarter for a big win, putting the Warriors on the brink of elimination.
If the Warriors can win Game 5 in San Francisco on Wednesday, the series shifts back to Los Angeles on Friday, with Game 7, if necessary, on Sunday in San Francisco.
As for Kim, she didn’t post on social media during the game, and it’s unclear if there is any deeper meaning to her ‘I Love Nerds’ t-shirt.
The businesswoman is coming off her last relationship with funnyman Pete Davidson, which lasted from November 2021 – just after Kim hosted SNL and shared a kiss with Davidson during an Aladdin sketch – until August 2022.
Before Pete, Kim had been with rapper Kanye West for a decade, starting dating in 2012 after many years of friendship, tying the knot in 2014 before their split in April 2021 with the divorce finalized in November 2022.
Kim actually started dating Kanye while she was still legally married to former NBA star Kris Humphries.
Kim started dating the basketball player in October 2010, with Humphries popping the question in May 2011 and the couple tying the knot in August 2011.
Just 72 days after tying the knot, Kim filed for divorce, with several reports claiming the marriage was a hoax to drum up publicity.
Kim even filed a lawsuit against a man claiming to be her former publicist, Jonathan Jaxson, which was ultimately settled out of court and Jaxson ultimately apologized.
Before hooking up with Humphries, Kim also dated NFL player Miles Austin in 2010, after she dated rapper Ray J, leading to her now-infamous sex tape.
Kim’s first marriage was when she was just 19, to music producer Damon Thomas in 2000, with Kim filing for divorce in 2003, claiming he was physically and emotionally abusive.
