But as the big day rolled around on Monday, Linday Lohan, 30, was in full costume mode as she stepped out dressed as Suicide Squad favourite Harley Quinn to attend party planner Fran Cutler’s Halloween bash in London.

The actress made her way to South Kensington’s exclusive Albert’s Club in red-and-blue sequinned hotpants, teamed with fishnet black stockings and black booties.

Wearing a white choker emblazoned with the word ‘puddin’, Lindsay wielded a baseball bat to add an extra touch of authenticity to her ensemble.

Madonna’s son Rocco Ritchie and Nicole Appleton were among the famous faces who attended the Day of the Dead-themed bash, which was sponsored by Belvedere vodka.

Over the weekend, Mean Girls star Lindsay flashed a lot more flesh as she shared a snapshot of herself posing in lingerie.

Her social media offering came after a plea for her to get in touch with Kettering’s MP last week.

The star famously angered residents of Kettering during the Brexit vote in July after admitting she had no clue where the English town was.

Now the town’s MP has called on the American actress to make good on her promise to turn on the Christmas lights after she failed to get back in contact.

The actress has been asked to contact the Northamptonshire town’s officials after she was invited to switch on the festive display by local MP Philip Hollobone and Commons leader Chris Grayling to make up for her June comments.
